Raspberry Poke Cake

1 pkg. white cake mix
1 pkg. (3 oz) Jello Raspberry Jello (or any other flavor)
1 c. boiling water plus 1/2 c. cold water
Prepare cake as directed on package, baking in a well greased and floured 9x13 pan at 350 degrees for 30-35 min. Cool in pan 15 min then poke with fork at 1/2 inch intervals. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and spooon over cake in pan. Chill 3-4 hours. Top with cool whip topping.
