Raisin Bread (2 loaves)

1 pkg yeast
1 c. luke warm water
1 c. lukewarm milk
2 tsp. salt
6 tsp. sugar
4-6 Tbsp. Crisco
6 C. flour
1 1/2 c. raisins
Pour yeast into water with 1/2 tsp. sugar,
Let stand till it fills up cup, then put into scalding milk (which has been cooled to lukewarm) with all the other ingredients except the flour. Stir, then add 2 c. flour, beat until smooth, work in rest of the flour to make a bread dough. Knead. Let rise to double then knead and form 2 loaves. Place in greased pans- Let rise Bake at 350 degrees 30-45 min.
