Melt 1/2 c. butter in 9 inch pan. Stir in 1/2 c. brown sugar and 2 Tbsp. syrup from a can of pineapple slices. Arrange drained slices in sugar mixture. Pour cake batter over all (use jiffy mix or only 1/2 cake mix) Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 45 min. Cool 5 min. Serve
